At the Renaissance we strive to be the easiest group sale transaction at any theatre in the country. You may order over the phone without filling out lengthy contract agreements, our seating chart is available in real time on our website, and of course there is NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED.
An additional perk for group sales is your reduced ticketing fees. Single ticket sales are accessed a $4.00 per ticket theatre preservation charge. Group sales are accessed a flat $10 fee for the entire order. An order of 30 tickets will save $90 on fees alone!
Ordering is easy! Simply put together your group of 15 or more and select a performance and price section, call to place your order. It really is that simple! Don't think you have a group? Think again. Putting together a group is easy and fun. Family, sports teams, friends, co-workers, union nights out, school, community and religious groups, book clubs and work out classes. Anyone qualifies, and everyone reaps the benefits!
Complete Event Planning
Our Event Planning Team will help make the most of your corporate gala, fundraising event, family reunion, travel package, holiday gathering, or theatre party. Centrally located in the heart of Ohio, the Renaissance Theatre is the perfect location for your special event and our staff will help plan every detail. Cocktails before the show, a reception afterwards, private space, hotel reservations, dinner reservations, transportation to the theatre ... we do it all. Whether your needs be simply for 30 tickets for your schools orchestra to attend a Mansfield Symphony performance, or as complex as finding meeting space for 100, 50 hotel rooms, dinner, and priority seating for a Broadway show...we can do it all. Just give a call to our group sales team, let us know what kind of experience you need to provide for your group, and let us take it from there.
Motorcoaches
Having worked in and around the motorcoach industry for more than 15 years, I have a deep understanding of the challenges tour operators face all the time. Expensive tickets, costly parking charges, wild deposits. I've done away with all of that in setting up our motorcoach program at the Renaissance. Drivers and escorts are always invited to watch the performance free of charge as a guest of the Renaissance Theatre. Coaches will be met in front of the theatre, and your group will be escorted directly to their seats, therefore bypassing lines at the box office and ticket takers. Coach tours will also receive a small gift as a memento of your trip to North Central Ohio's most historic movie palace!I do not ask for an up front deposit on tickets. I will hold your seats at the time of reservation and keep in touch with you from time to time in the following weeks. I do ask for a "done deal" count 60 days out with full payment for that number. I also allow you to change that number for another 30 days and will be happy to refund the amount of any tickets dropped from your group. At 30 days out our transaction is final and your tickets will either be mailed or held at will call, depending on the needs of your particular group. My goal is to provide you with the easiest most stress free group ticket transaction you have ever done. And, I want you to come back year after year!!

Backstage Tours
While the Renaissance is always buzzing, there is not always an event on stage. During the quieter times, we offer a fascinating peek behind the scenes. Your group will get a view of this grand movie palace that few ever see! Only $5 per person.
Backstage Tours Information
- A 45 minute guided tour behind the scenes
- Free popcorn and soda
- Learn about the grand chandelier
- A recital on the mighty Wurlitzer Organ!
- Walk across the magnificent 48-foot stage to see the view of the stars
- Get an up-close look at lights, curtains, sets, "the rail" and more
- Hear the stories of celebrities who have performed on our stage, and the strange-but-true story of murder in the theatre office!

Lunch on Stage
Experience the view of the stars! Enjoy a custom built menu prepared by one of Mansfield's finest food experts on the stage that has hosted Bill Cosby, Ray Charles, and Bob Hope. Few people get to see the theatre from this perspective. Your group will not only get to see it, but enjoy an all you can eat gourmet meal on it! During dessert, you'll be serenaded by the sounds of the mighty Wurlitzer, and your group will dance their way back to the coach!

- Ed Picken's Park Avenue Catering will create a meal just for your group. Choose from a huge selection of menu items. Ed has been filling the mouths of Mansfielders for over 2 decades!

Ohio Wine Tasting
Discover Ohio's diverse and exciting wine industry. Learn how Ohio went from the largest and most celebrated producer of wine in the country before prohibition to virtually unknown in the wine world. Hear about today's new wines, where the winemakers are headed, and how Ohio wines are re-gaining respect and popularity among enthusiasts, all while exploring the Historic Renaissance Theatre!
Wine Tasting Information
- Each participant will receive a 1.5 oz. tasting of 5 Ohio wines
- Longfellow's "Ode to Catawba Wine" will be discussed, and read
- Wines set up at 5 stations throughout the theatre, so that part of the theatre will be discussed while tasting the wine
- Sealed full bottles may be purchased to take home for $8.25 each
- Plenty of fresh water, coffee, and club soda available
- Hot and cold hours d'ouvers also will be served
- $100 fee and $6.50 per person
School Groups are a very important part of Renaissance Performing Arts. We strive to provide a world-class educational experience to each and every student who desires it. While the realities of producing music and drama events prevent us from giving away tickets to our events, we do make every effort to bring them within reach for school classes. If you are a teacher or parent who would like more information on bringing your children to the Renaissance, please call Brandon Smith at 419-522-2726 ext. 63. School groups are booked in and priced on an individual basis depending on ticket availability, popularity of the event, and educational value.
We also offer schools a very generous fund raising program to help cover the cost of a ticket. Please inquire for more information on this exciting program!

How does it work?
- Your passes will work much like gift certificates, and reservations may be made by phone, email, or in person at the box office. Pass must be traded for tickets at the door.
- Passes may also be presented at the window the night of the show in exchange for the best available seats.
- Distribute however you'd like. Ask me for suggestions!
- Prices are all inclusive and include a $1 per ticket theatre preservation charge.
- Much like season tickets, passes are good for the season in which they were purchased and cannot be rolled over.
- Simply call to place your order, and passes will be mailed to you.
RPA All Access Corporate Pass
- Good for any presentation produced by RPA, including Broadway, Symphony, Comedy, and Family shows!
