Director of Marketing & Communications
Colleen Cook loves the Renaissance and is proud to have been on staff since 2012. Now serving in the role of Director of Marketing and Communications, Colleen previously served as the Director of Development for the Renaissance. Along with planning and overseeing all promotion of the organization, she is the host of the Renaissance Podcast and frequent author of the Renaissance Blog, and the manager of the Renaissance social media accounts.
Before coming to the Renaissance, Colleen worked with Americans for the Arts and Shenandoah Conservatory Performances while obtaining her masters degree in Arts Administration at Shenandoah Conservatory, where she also completed graduate work in Contemporary Commercial Voice Pedagogy. Prior to that, she taught vocal and general music in Wapakoneta City Schools, after graduating with her bachelors degree in Music Education from Ashland University in 2007. Colleen spends her free time involved with Park Street Brethren Church, the Ashland Convention and Visitors Bureau, and freelancing as a digital marketing strategist for local businesses. She enjoys cooking, reading great books, listening to podcasts, and traveling with her husband, Mike, and 2 daughters, Eloise and Coralie.
