Working with the National Underground Railroad Museum in Cincinnati, the Renaissance is developing this world premiere stage adaptation that chronicles Ohio's key contribution to the abolitionist movement of the 19th century. Told through story and song, this narrative, alternately heartbreaking and triumphant, explores one of the darkest episodes of American history as it shines a light on the very best - and the very worst - of human nature.
