Olios

In the early vaudeville and music hall traditions, variety acts were presented in front of the curtain during set changes and in between scenes to keep the audience entertained. With such a large and talented cast, we decided to feature our younger choristers in olios. These will be performed in between scenes- so when you see an actor step out from a crowd scene and start spontaneously singing, you’ll know it’s an olio!
